DEREK ROZON · FOUNDER / MANUFACTURING PEER
I know the shop.
Now I help you see it.
Bring your entire facility into the room. See the same problem. Talk it through. Make better decisions.
ABOUT ME
I understand manufacturingfrom the machine to the management table.
I started machining at 14, was running production by 19, and have spent more than 30 years building, planning, and leading CNC manufacturing operations from the shop floor up.
As a plant supervisor, plant manager, and technical program manager, I did more than manage production. I evaluated and purchased machines, planned shop layouts and equipment moves, coordinated rigging, electrical, air, and contractor work, and worked through the clearances, service access, tooling, material flow, and operator needs that determine whether a layout succeeds in the real world.
Before J/E Bearing, I spent five years at Armatec Survivability working in military-component production and three years at Euro-tek Machine. During the nearly 13 years that followed at J/E Bearing, I planned around live production, changing capacity, 5-axis, medium-volume CNC production, customer commitments, and the constant pressure to improve workflow without disrupting delivery.
That is the experience behind Axial Spaces: not just capturing a building, but understanding how a shop works and what teams need to plan its next move with confidence.
